Renee Harberts, CLTC® , CRPS®

Renee Harberts has understood the value of money and importance of saving nearly her entire life. From a young age she was so responsible with her allowance that instead of borrowing from her older sisters, it was her sisters who borrowed from her. This propensity to save and prepare for the unexpected would serve Renee well as an adult, especially during the global financial crisis of 2008. As people around her lost their homes and jobs, Renee recognized she had knowledge to share with others.

Renee’s financial planner at the time was John Hance, who was so impressed with her financial acumen that he would later offer her a job. At John’s urging, she joined Hance Financial, LLC and the financial industry in 2012.

Renee works from a place of authentic trust, respect, and integrity. She has the heart of a teacher, not the attitude of a saleswoman. It’s her job to help the client understand their options, and feel more empowered and confident in their financial decisions. Renee strives to be someone the client is comfortable coming to with questions and sharing their dreams with.

She helps her clients fit their investments to their life, understand what they are investing in and why, and encourages them to stick with their long-term goals. Each client’s needs direct their unique plan, which may cover retirement income, life and long-term care insurance, investments, and more.

When she is not with clients, Renee loves spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. She also enjoys gourmet cooking, wine, golfing, exercising, and reading.
